Florida: Senior Users A Rising Demographic At Cannabis Dispensaries
Last year, the proportion of adults 65 or older who reported recent cannabis use jumped by 18 percent, according to the 2020 National Survey of Drug Use and Health released last week, rising from 5.1 percent in 2019 to 6 percent in 2020.
Failed Drug Tests Leads To Supply Chain Issues With American Truck Drivers
More than 72,000 truck drivers have been taken off US roads since January 2020 because they have failed drug tests that are now required by the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, a 22-month-old registry established to increase safety on US highways, according to government data.

Texas: Veterans Fight Against State Delta 8 THC Ban

Mississippi: Gov. Tate Reeves Continues To Block Medical Marijuana Law
Governor Tate Reeves has not yet announced when he will call a special session of the legislature to create a new medical marijuana program in the state. Mississippians voted last year to create a program, however the constitutional amendment was overturned by the state supreme court.
Reeves said in September that he would call a session once lawmakers were complete in drafting a bill to create a medicinal cannabis program, but he says there are remaining issues he would like to see addressed before calling that session.
