Survey: 60% Of Cannabis Users Would Get High With A Grandparent

More than half of the survey’s respondents identified as cannabis users. Among them, 28% said that they consumed cannabis daily, 18% are weekly users, 15% use cannabis on a monthly basis, while 39% used cannabis products a few times a year.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren & Cory Booker Ask Attorney General Merrick Garland To Decriminalize Marijuana

“We urge the DOJ to initiate the process to decriminalize cannabis. Doing so would be an important first step in the broader tasks of remedying the harmful racial impact of our nation’s enforcement of cannabis laws and ensuring that states can effectively regulate the growing cannabis industry, including by assisting small business owners and those most harmed by our historical enforcement of cannabis laws,” wrote Senators Warren and Booker.

NBA To Continue Not Testing For Marijuana Use

The league suspended testing in March 2020 when play was suspended in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, then agreed with the players to test for performance-enhancers in the bubble at Walt Disney World that summer. But marijuana wasn’t on that list, wasn’t tested for last season and now won’t be this season either.

Rural Oklahoma Infrastructure Feeling Weight Of Cannabis Farming Boom

[Logan Pleasant, the operations director at Lake Region Electric Cooperative] says more than 100 growers are tapping into his electric grid, and each one uses enough electricity to power 30 homes. If this keeps up, Pleasant says the electric co-op will have to buy new substations and even install new power lines. That could cost millions of dollars, an expense shouldered by each member of the co-op.

New Mexico To Open Federal Cannabis Grow Facility

The bones of a greenhouse have already been built, but that’s just the start because the whole facility will soon be a 115-acre research and manufacturing cannabis plant. With more than 100 employees, they said it’s worth more than $300 million in investments, however, some locals still have some concerns.

PA Senator Mike Regan: “Legalization of Adult-Use Marijuana is Inevitable” [Editorial]

“Recent years have also brought proven benefits of marijuana for health purposes, which has opened the door for legalization of adult-use marijuana. In 2016, as a member of the House of Representatives, I was one of the architects of our medical marijuana program, and since its inception, we have seen over 500,000 residents enroll in the program. The lives of so many have changed with the safe use of medical marijuana.”

Florida: Sheriff’s Dept. Looking For “Rightful Owner” Of $2m In Illegal Marijuana

“If you happened to have lost or misplaced approximately 770 pounds of high grade marijuana and would like to have your property returned, please contact our Narcotics Agents and we will be more than happy to reunite you with your lost property!!” read the statement written by Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
