There are a lot of cool things one absolutely has to try when high – just to see if they can and also to see how they would fair now that they are under the influence. One such activity is playing video games. Whether you’re a gamer or not is beside the issue. Die-hard players as well as those who’ve never touched a console would get a kick out of attempting to play a surreal video game right about when their mind is playing tricks on them. Below, check out 5 must-try video games for when you’re high.

1. Grand Theft Auto (GTA)

Grand Theft Auto is an action-packed crime adventure video game that lets you roam the world freely as you carry out various crimes. By navigating through land, water or air, you can move about freely as you wish.

Attempting to play GTA when high is cool for so many reasons. For one, you get to see if you can handle driving, reading maps, and traversing on foot across the game areas. You’ll also test if you can follow through with the crimes you’re commissioned to do. But because it’s an open-world set, you just might end up doing anything, and to anyone.

2. Call of Duty

Call of Duty is a combat adventure game series where the player, together with his/her fellow soldiers, undertakes dangerous missions across the world. Though it’s a just a game, the tension and anxiety are all real.

Playing this video game when high will put you to the ultimate test. Will you be able to hold your ground, work together with your teammates and fight? Or will you freak out and get killed in action? There’s only one way to find out.

3. Tekken

Tekken is all about raw, bare-knuckle fighting. You get to choose your character from a list of fighters where each possesses a different set of select skills. From there you’ll take on the rest of the fighters and combat each other in different settings.

As anyone familiar with video games will tell you, combat games need a lot of coordination. But what if you’re toked out of your mind? Will you be able to defend yourself from your opponent? Better yet, will you manage to compose yourself and fight?

4. Resident Evil

Resident Evil is an action adventure game where one navigates the provided terrain trying to stop an evil group from destroying the world. What makes it apart from other action games such as Call of Duty, however, is its horror theme. And that would make for a very interesting game play experience when high.

Already creepy as is, will you stand the horrors your senses will be put through when you’re high?

5. The Witcher

This is yet another action-adventure open-world game. And just like Resident Evil, The Witcher offers players a chance to battle it out with dark forces through a chilling journey in search of a quest – to find your lost adopted daughter. In this game, swords, magic, and other ancient methodologies of combat are utilized.

Can you manage the wild hunt when high? Will you manage to follow the map, fight quests, and combat your enemies as they appear?

For an even more interesting game-play experience, try playing with a partner or online where applicable. After all, the more players there are, the merrier.
