U.S. hemp company Dad Grass has announced a new collection of cannabis products and accessories to honor the legacy of iconic musical artist George Harrison. Dubbed All Things Must Grass, the line of  hemp flower, pre-rolled joints and branded smoking accessories commemorates the 50th anniversary of Harrison’s groundbreaking solo release, “All Things Must Pass.”

“In 1970, George Harrison released ‘All Things Must Pass,’ his first solo album after the break-up of the Beatles,”

on its website. “Just over 50 years later, Dad Grass is paying tribute to the man, the dad, his and his enduring legacy by bringing the world some laughs and some grass.”

Dad Grass specializes in federally legal hemp products that provide the benefits of CBD and CBG without the high associated with THC. Ben Starmer, co-founder and CEO of Dad Grass, said the All Things Must Grass collection, which was created with the approval of the Harrison estate, represents the kind of cannabis products that the late artist would have likely appreciated. Like all the company’s products, the new line contains only 0.3 percent THC or less.

“We tend to shy away from the high test blow-your-mind weed that kids are into today,” Starmer said in a statement from the company. “For this project, we set out to create a mellower kind of joint, something that blended together the type of high quality, low potency, and all-natural flower that was around when George was ‘having a laugh’ back in the early 70s. Just a classic smoke for a classic bloke.”

Pre-Rolled Joints Featuring CBD and CBG

The flagship offering of the collection is the Special Blend George Harrison Dad Grass Five Pack, a box of five pre-rolled joints crafted from sustainably grown American hemp flower. Providing a “peaceful balance of the two most enlightening cannabinoids, CBD for physical harmony and CBG for mental clarity,” the new joints serve “as an ode to George’s mystic blend of cultures, styles and times.”

“These Special Blend joints should take you back to the good ol’ days when smokin’ a doobie helped you tune in, gave you a pleasant-but-manageable buzz and put you in a chilled out euphoric mood,” said Dad Grass Co-founder Joshua Katz.

The new collection also features a suite of smoking accessories and branded merchandise that echoes the artwork and spirit of the classic “All Things Must Pass” album, including a pack of George Harrison signature rolling papers, a rolling tray, limited edition silk-screened posters, buttons, pins, matches and stickers. There’s also an All Things Must Grass stash box disguised as a double-cassette of the album, allowing the user to hide their weed in plain sight. More products in the All Things Must Grass line are expected to be released in the coming months. A video created by artist Jess Rotter to highlight the new collection is

The products in the collection are available for purchase online for home delivery throughout the country by the U.S. Postal Service, in accordance with the 2018 Farm Bill. The collection will also be available at select retailers across the U.S. this month.

Both Katz and Starmer say that they are big fans of Harrison’s music, which makes the collaboration with his estate even more special.

“You can listen to [Harrison’s] songs today and hear something totally different than you did 10 or 20 years ago,”

. “It’s a testament to the timelessness of what he created as well as the complexity of his art form.”

“When we think about legendary people that we would have liked to have smoked with, George has always been at the top of our list,” added Starmer. “Having the opportunity to put together a collection of joints and merch that honor him and his enduring legacy felt like a huge responsibility. But it was also a total blast.”
