There are various reasons why fall is my favorite time of year. Admittedly, October is my birthday month, so we’re already off to a great start. But also, living in Southern California, October is when I finally get a glimpse that the 100-degree heat waves are going to become fewer and further between.
As a mom, there’s nothing cuter than October traditions like trick-or-treating, visiting pumpkin patches, the Halloween parade at preschool, carving pumpkins and, of course, religiously watching The Nightmare Before Christmas (which is one of my family’s favorite Christmas movies that also doubles as a solid Halloween tradition).
